| It's been many moons since I have updated, but this is very important.
Paul, Hanna, and I are hosting a housewarming party this FRIDAY
to warm our new Chicago apartment. If you live in the area, contact me
via comment or e-mail [tatebrazas at gmail dot com] and I will send you
an invitation.
The more the merrier!

| And I just can't hide it! Paul is had his last night of work for two
weeks tonight. I am delighted. He got a really good Christmas bonus and
brought home a crapload of food that would go bad otherwise. If anyone
wants cake (non-vegan, boo!), organic mixed greens, or spinach, we have
a whole lot of it.
Only a week or so until Paul, Hanna, and I go to Chicago. I'm excited
because snow is novel again. I'm also happy that I will get to see
family and they will get to meet Hanna. Especially my grandma... she's
awesome.
Today I was thinking about underrated qualities. I really appreciate it when things are clever. Cleverness is a rare commodity these days, so when I stumble upon it, I squeal with delight!
I'm tempted to drive down to LA, partially to visit my mom and
partially to eat vegan potato doughnuts and "milk"shakes. I love food
(and music) more than any human should. They are two of my best friends.
p.s. I think this will be my last Xanga entry ever. No one likes me on
this site. If yr still interested in reading about my silly life, go to my LiveJournal or my Subkultures journal (they're mirrored... I'm a lame wad, I know).
p.s.s. Paul has also moved to Subkultures.
| Paul, Jesse, non-roomate Nicole, and I have formed a band. We have no name, no genre, and not much direction. We do have 2 guitars, a bass, an Alesis HR-16 and MMT-8, a new mixer, a latop full of software, a MIDI controller keyboard, and a Roland Juno 106(!!!). We will see what happens.Do you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? | | |
| Last night's birthday festivites were supa-dupa. We ate a vast vegan smorgasboard and sang karaoke all night. Yep I got my very own copy of Karaoke Revolution, and it's pretty damn fun. This was the evening in a nutshell:

Nicole and I playing Karaoke Revolution, me very passionately. Oh yes, and on Nicole's lap is the best gift EVER my very own Gloomy Bear and matching wallet (courtesy of Nicole). The highlight of the evening (other than the big feast) was Jesse's rendition of "Broken Wings," the classic ballad. We will soon have a battle to settle who is the REAL karaoke champion.
It was a very successful party.
